Worried about Chitika Error on Wodpress screen

As i tried to configure my Chitika account on my Wordpress blog, i faced the below error

Error connecting to validation server to verify your username, please try again later. You can manually verify that you have entered the correct username by logging into theChitika Publisher Panel and matching the name in the top right of the navigation bar, near support and account. Please note that your email is not your username.

After trying for multiple times and doing different validations, i could not fix it.

However when i checked my blog, the ads were already getting displayed

This is surprising. It is possible that error message displayed is incorrect. But the work is actually happening. So do not worry if you get this error. Just check the output.

This error is also acknowledged by chitika in the below link

Are you facing problem while adding Scripts to Wordpress blog?

One of the most common problem faced by wordpress users during monetization is the fact that they cannot add Scripts. This becomes a major bottleneck since most monetization platform rely on Scripts.

This blog post is to help wordpress.org users on how they can use scripts to monetize their blog.

I recently used a plugin called "Ad Inserter" to add a monetize plugin. Here are the simple steps to add this plugin to your wordpress.org blog

1. Log in to your Admin panel of wordpress blog
2.Go to Plugins -> Add New
3.In "Search Plugin" option search for "Ad Inserter". below results will appear

4. Click on "Install now". Since i have already installed in i am getting the message as "installed"
5. after the installation is complete, you will get a screen with options. Click on "activate plugin"
6. Go to Settings ->"Ad inserter"

7.Select any of the blocks and insert the code that you wish to run on your blog

8. Go to Appearance - Widgets. Drag & drop the "Adinserter" widget to the location where you wish it to be displayed it on the blog . based on the block where you have placed the code, select the same block to be activated/displayed on your blog

Hope you have a good experience in monetizing your blog. Would be happy to answer any questions you have.

If you have further tips, please feel free to share the comments below

Migrate WordPress Blog to Blogger

It is an easy process to migrate blog from WordPress to blogger in 4 steps documented here. Check out the steps and let us know your experiences.
  • In WordPress go to Tools Export and click on the Export button

  • Choose All Content and click on Download Export file. This will give you an XML file to save to your computer in the native format (WordPress eXtended RSS or WXR format) with all posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags.                                                                               This file can be used for loading to another WordPress Blog or conversion to any other blog platform.

  • The file obtained in step 2 is in WXR format. It needs to be converted to a format blogger can read. Hence go to http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com/ and Load up your WXR file. You will get another file back in blogger format. Save it on your machines.

  •  Now it is time to import this file to blogger. Go to blogger dashboard and click import, select the file you got from. To export your blog, simply click "Import Blog" from the Settings | Other tab in Blog tools

  • Once import file is clicked, read all the options carefully. Do remember that all draft posts from WordPress will also be pulled. Hence it is advisable that you don’t check the box to publish right away. You can take your time to review and publish after the import is completed by going to Posts - Imported.

Know the ball is in your court to decide which blog to delete and which one to keep. If you want to keep both wordpress and blogger blog active then you have to sync them up.

Write us why you have migrated from WordPress to Blogger or ViceVersa.
